常住成员原则：指经常在家居住、或调查期内居住时间超过一半的住户成员，及本户供养学生。
收付实现制原则：以实际收到（或支付）为标准，发生一笔记一笔。

电子账：对家中收支情况熟悉、有记账能力并且经常在家的人，利用手机、平板等电子数据采集设备，通过“E记账”APP/小程序每日记录家庭及所有常住成员收支。
纸质账：对家中收支情况熟悉、有记账能力并且经常在家的人，用钢笔或圆珠笔（水芯笔）在《现金和实物收支日记账D》账本中每日记录家庭及所有常住成员收支。

职工工资记实发工资，社保支出仅记个人缴纳部分，单位代扣的个人缴纳部分的个人所得税、养老保险、医疗保险、失业保险、公积金等还需要记入消费项目中。
例：张三每月实际发工资8000元，其中个人缴纳养老保险800元、医疗保险150元、公积金1000元。

一揽子消费要拆分
超市一次性购买多件商品，需要分开逐一进行登记；菜场一次性购买多种蔬菜，也需要分开逐一进行登记。
例：张三去超市买了230元物品，其中蔬菜（萝卜5元、青菜10元、黄瓜15元），牛排70元，拖把60元，洗发水40元，卫生纸30元。

医疗报销记两笔
总体医疗费用支出记为消费支出项目，报销部分记入收入项目。
