7月16日，在第12届世界化学工程大会暨第21届亚太化工联盟大会期间，由中石油（上海）新材料研究院承办的“化工新材料与未来化工产业”国际论坛（第28分会场）在北京顺利举办。

本次论坛由中石油（上海）新材料研究院执行董事、院长吴利平，德国慕尼黑工业大学教授、奥地利科学院院士、欧洲科学院院士、美国工程院院士 Johannes A. Lercher 担任主席，中石油（上海）新材料研究院副院长黄旭东担任秘书长。

来自国内外高校、科研院所、全球化工企业的180余位专家学者及产业代表齐聚一堂，聚焦化工新材料领域的创新成果和未来化工产业的发展趋势，共商化工新材料绿色智造与未来化工产业的可持续发展。

开幕环节，吴利平院长发表了热情洋溢的开幕辞。她强调，当前全球化工新材料产业正处在变革与机遇交织的关键阶段。一方面，产业链重构、绿色低碳转型以及技术迭代加速给行业带来了不小的挑战；另一方面，新能源、电子信息等领域的爆发式需求，又为新材料的研发与应用开辟了广阔天地。作为全球化工界的“奥林匹克”盛会，世界化学工程大会肩负着引领产业变革的使命。而本次分会场的举办，旨在搭建一个跨界合作与协同创新的平台，推动产学研用深度对话，激发技术突破与产业落地的火花。

论坛上，19位来自学术界和产业界的专家学者带来了精彩的专题报告，分别就可持续化工、塑料废弃物高值转化、电子信息材料、绿色低碳与循环经济、光热调控材料、生物质转化等领域，分享了最新的研究成果，内容涵盖基础研究、技术开发、工业转化等多个方面。专家们从行业发展面临的关键挑战出发，提出了化工行业绿色低碳发展的关键路径和技术举措。
